200 g sugar,
1-2 sachets of vanilla sugar
We need 4 big oranges' zest. Prepare the zest as follows: cut the zest into half an inch wide strips. Roll the zest and fix it in this form with a toothpick (or they can be strung on a thread using a needle). Keep these rolls of orange zest for two days in a refrigerator in a bowl with water. Change the water 3 times a day.
In the 3rd day prepare the sugar syrup: boil together 1 l of water, 200 g sugar and the juice from 2 oranges. Add 4-5 the walnuts, 2-3 cloves, 1-2 lemon slices and 1-2 sachets of vanilla sugar. Add the rolls of orange zest and cook until they become glassy. Remove the toothpick from each orange zest roll. Put de hot jam in a jar.
