INGREDIENTS -200 g butter -100 g caster sugar -1 tablespoon of honey -250 g flour -100 g walnuts -15 g of baking powder -1 teaspoon rum essence -100 g sugar for caramel -100 g grated coconut |
Mix together the butter with powdered sugar, honey and rum. Add the flour, baking powder and the walnuts broken into small pieces. Put the dough into fridge for an half an hour. Then cut the dough into the shapes. Bake the dough hearts in preheated oven at 180 Celsius degree for 7-8 minutes. Meanwhile melt 100 g of sugar until it became a caramel fluid. Put half of each heart cookie into this hot caramel, and then pass it through the grated coconut. Place each cookie to dry, and then preserve them in cans.
